The pedagogical experience of Luis Magín, reveals him as one of the most demanded Viola Professors of the present time. His students are members of different youth orchestras like the JOSPA, JONDE, JOYCO, Youth Orchestra of Holland and the World Youth Orchestra.

Some of them develop professional activities in different Spanish Conservatories and others are accepted for postgraduate studies in prestigious institutions.

Luis Magín has been professor at the Superior Conservatory of Music of La Coruña and at the present time he is a permanent member of the faculty at CONSMUPA, leading one of the most prestigious viola studios in the country.

His pedagogical reputation makes him been recognized abroad and he has been invited to give Master classes at the Prince of Asturias Foundation, Cangas de Onís, Conservatory of Avila, Salamanca, Segovia, Guernika, Calahorra, JOSPA, Youth National Orchesta of Spain (JONDE) and the EuroArts Music Festival in Leipzig. Recently he has been invited to the University of Michigan, Florida University; University of Greenville North Carolina, Peabody School of Music in Baltimore, the RNCM of Manchester and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Aarhus. He has lectured and performed at the 36th International Viola Congress held in Tempe, Arizona. He has served as Juror of the 13th Primrose Competition
