Having been guided by the Tokyo String Quartet and the St. Lawrence Quartet, he develops an intense Chamber Music life throughout his career. The importance of Chamber Music in his life is really significant, as a proof of it is his ample trajectory at the Nersos Quartet and the Quartet S.XXI. At the moment he is a member of the Quinteto Turina (in the picture) and the Trio Lidón, having offered concerts in Spain, Germany, Belgium and the USA; making his debut at the Festival Mozart, Juan March Foundation, Leon Auditorium or Chamber Music Cycle Martes Musicales, among others.
Luis Magín has performed next to the Yale Chamber Players under the direction of Jaap Schröder, having worked the historical repertoire. He has been Principal violist of the Orchestra de Cámara Galega. He collaborates with assiduity with the Orchestra de Cámara Ibérica and has served as Principal Viola in the JONDE, Spanish Radio Television Orchestra, Yale Philarmonia and freelance with the OSGA, OSPA and Filarmónica de Gran Canaria. He has participated in several studio recording projects for BMG, Sony, Audivis and Valois.
